I had peppered tofu 2 days ago. I am tempted to make it again tonight. So, so good!
here is the recipe:
I cut down on the butter (by half) and black pepper (also by half or so) and replaced the sweet soya sauce with molasses as per one of the reviews. I used onions as opposed to shallots as I had none on hand.
A yummy breakfast of Trader Joe's danish pancakes (ovo-vegetarian) with strawberry jam and powdered sugar, and these bananas on the side:
