Hi -

Our new au pair is vegan, and I need ideas for incorporating vegan recipes into our lifestyle, because I want her to be comfortable in our home.  Are there any books on vegan recipes for children/babies? My youngest is 4 months old, so no solid foods yet, but my au pair isn't comfortable feeding meat/eggs/milk to the children so I need ideas on what to feed the baby especially (for the other kids I have some ideas already but more are welcome.

There aren't any specifically-for-kids vegan cookbooks last I checked. Most of my favorite kid-friendly vegan cookbooks are the ones by Dreena Burton.

When my daughter was a baby, her favorite foods were sweet potato, pears, and avocados.

My favorite is "Raising Vegetarian Children" by Joanne Stepaniak
