Are you on Pinterest? I have found many veg*n slow cooker recipes there. It is hard to find recipes that don't center around meat or "cream of somthing" soup.

Looking for vegan or ovo-lacto recipes?

I actually came to mdc this afternoon to find some fresh ideas, but I"ll share some of my regulars.

http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2009/06/crockpot-baked-potato-soup-recipe.html  I sub greek yogurt for the cream cheese.

http://vegetarian.about.com/od/vegetarianindianrecipes/r/yellowdhal.htm I saute the onions and then throw it all into the crockpot. Low 6 hours, maybe?

I also do curries frequently.

you know what?  i am on Pintrest, so i will check that out.  it became a new guilty pleasure of mine about two months ago.  i have come across that 365 website and thought it was pretty cool, but i'm going to need to play around with it a bit more.

And, of course, looks like there's 274 pages of crock pot threads here on Mothering! You can use any recipe that calls for slow cooking or braising. So glad you got your crock pot!

joy.gifI love having a crock pot. With the coming of autumn where I live, I'll be using it a lot more (it sort of goes into hibernation in the summer), so I'll be back to post some recipes.

I haven't tried these but here are some of the best looking ones I've found recently:

I seem to find alot of curry and lentil soup/stew recipes. That crockpot 365 site has some great looking vegetarian stuff too. I am hoping to start using my slow cooker more soon too.
