My doctor advised small, frequent meals. I'm vegan, and he said they should be high-fiber and low-sodium and include protein. What does this mean for regular meals or dinners? Does anyone have any experience? Will I have to start consuming dairy and eggs again? I appreciate any guidance/advice. Thanks!

Thank you. I found the fat-free vegan site for lf and low sodium ideas. I'm guessing I'll just have to break my meals in half. I'm also cooking for family members who don't need to eat small meals and have fairly big appetites.
Here's some high fiber protein-containing vegan small meal ideas:
Small baked sweet potato topped with either spicy hummus or almond butter and a drizzle/sprinkle of something sweet.
Whole grain toast or half a bagel with nut butter
Edamame and a salad roll
An apple and 8-12 roasted almonds
Cup of bean or split pea soup
Banana spread with nut butter
Veggie sticks and hummus (I usually like to have some corn thins with this one http://www.cornthins.com/)
Corn thins topped with refried beans and avocado
All sorts of green, grain, or bean salads
