Hi all hoping someone can help.  I'm on my two week wait (assisted with progesterone and oestrogen) and I'm sooo hungry.  I'm eating a good diet with lots of protein (at least 80g) whole grains, calcium, fresh fruit and veg.  But it doesn't seem to matter how much I eat I'm still hungry.  I'm getting bored of eating and having trouble sleeping I'm so hungry.

 

Any ideas for some vegan food that will make me feel full?

How much fat are you eating?  

I found that I needed to increase my fats a lot.  Like, a few tablespoons of coconut oil, plus extra olive oil on salads and rice and veggies.  I am small person with a fast metabolism and I need around 1/3 to 1/2 cup oils, per day when pregnant and breastfeeding.  Especially when I do not eat meat.

Although we're not vegan, I find this recipe most nourishing and filling. We eat ours with home made hearthbread.

OrmEbma: I think you got it :) I was eating healthly fats like nuts and avocados but evidently not as much as my body was craving.  I've been adding flax oil to everything and eating nuts or something every hour or so and it's really helped I'm a different person much happier.

This pasta and veggie dish has olive oil mixed with nutritional yeast, plus sunflower seeds--very filling and plenty of protein, plus B vitamins which are crucial in warding off nausea and exhaustion.  I hope your 2 week wait turns out well! fingersx.gif
