Question Most recommended vegan cookbooks?

I am currently making up a baby registry, and I'd love to include a few cookbooks on there, since I'm really hoping to get more into cooking and baking, being that I plan on becoming a stay-at-home, full-time mom for awhile.

I tried accessing the resources link from the sticky inside this forum, but for some reason the site just turns blank for me. So I'm not sure if that would have been a helpful place to view cookbooks or not.

As of right now, I have one book added to my registry. It's called: Plant-Powered Families: Over 100 Kid-Tested, Whole-Foods Vegan Recipes
(I would link it off Amazon, but I am unable to include links in my post until I get my post count up.)

Are there any other good cookbooks out there that any of you are fond of?

Thanks in advance!

~ArcaneAscent

I love collecting cookbooks. Some of my most used ones are Veganomicon and Vegan with a Vengence. Also by Dreena, Eat Drink and be Vegan is great. Her orange sesame tofu is always a hit with my family, vegans and non-veg alike

I like Vegan Vittles which is small and simple, but that makes me use it more. I also have the Voluptuous Vegan, but that one seems a lot more complicated. I also have Appetite for Reduction by Moskowitz.

I end up getting recipes online half the time anyway. I've found some good ones--I should see if they have written cookbooks.

The Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen by Donna Klein is hands down my favorite vegan cookbook. Whole ingredients are used. She does not utilize TVP, Soy or Tofu, so the dishes are friendly for family gatherings.

One more vote for Isa Chandra Moskowitz. I like all her cookbooks. You might want to check out reviews on Amazon and decide which one you like.

I have purchased 2 vegan cookbooks for my daughter. Actually, one I bought for myself, Appetite for Reduction by Isa Chandra Moscovitz, and I bought her a larger one, Isa Does It. Her dad just gave her a Kindle version of the Oh She Glows cookbook.

Another vote for Thug kitchen.

I enjoy Plenty by Ottolenghi. It is vegetarian, not vegan (but of course some recipes are vegan).

I'll second The Oh She Glows. She's fabulous.

My current favorite (because my crockpot is life): The Vegan Slow Cooker by Kathy Hester. It's a lifesaver.
