What do you juice?

My all time favorite is carrot juice. I also juice celery, bok choy, apples, and sometimes grapes.

I bought a juicer about a month and a half ago and did really good for about a week! I so need to get on a routine with it.
I was mostly doing a mixture of carrot, kale, beets, parsley and half an apple. It was so good- why am I so lazy!?

I used to drink wheatgrass juice alot from the hfs and was thinking of trying to grow my own.

I should really go make a glass right now...

I am! just started up with my every day routine again. I've been juicing for 6 years and got my kids started on it while they were little so they love it.
I almost always use a carrot/celery/apple base, then add whatever other veggies or greens that I have. I love how raw juice makes me feel.

What kind of a juicer do you all use? I've been wanting one for a while and I think I'm ready to break down and get one.

I love fresh carrot juice. And especially carrot-orange-ginger juice.

I have a champion juicer that a friend loaned to me. I got in the habit when I realized how much better I feel when I juice... so I do it 4-7 days a week.

I LOVE making juice. Right now root veggies are in season so I make carrot or beet juice and I sweeten them by juicing apples and oranges with them.
SO YUMMY!

Joyful mama of 3.

Is there something you can do with the pulp that is produced by the juicer? I really feel so wasteful just tossing it.

Mama to Raina (9/06) and Peter (8/09)!

One book or website- I don't remember - said you can add some pulp back in to keep some fiber. I really want too try to get used to that and then compost the rest. I am struggling with feeling wasteful too.

If you're juicing veggies you can use the pulp in meatloaf type stuff or soups at least that's what I hear.

I just broke out the juicer that I received at xmas today. Holy cow! Who knew juice actually tastes good? I just threw an orange, 2 apples and some blueberries together and it was so yummy. I added water to it and split it between the two kids and me. It was so good I bought a bunch of carrots and celery, apples and oranges. Let the juicing commence
