I have been homeschooling and this year is hitting me hard. I am having a very hard time trying to find things to do with DS and I have a very hard time thinking up all the cute fun stuff some other moms do. I am not a tracher and would have never picked to be one. I love my childern at home and I know that is where Christ wants them. ( Why,..... I have no patience when it comes to teaching my own childern!!LOL!): I HAVE to buy a curriculum if I am to keep on diong this. After hours of praying and searching : I know that this A Beka program fits our lifestlye and my DS the best. The bad part is that is is already almost Feb and we are $$ tight. I have some and we are willing to pay half of full cost for a used entire program for the 1st grade. Please LMK if you can spare one. Bless you!

I will take a look at what I have. I know that I don't have the readers. But I should have science and history, both student/teacher editions. I might have other odds and ends. I have a partially used Art 1 book. I might have a partially used Phonics. I might have a couple of other TE.

The problem is that the student Abeka is consumable. You should be able to find the TE for math used at a good price. I never use mine anyway. Abeka math is the only thing from Abeka that I still use for now but I have switched back to Singapore.

I use My Father's World. I found that Abeka does tend to be cumbersome with the amount of seatwork.
