I am trying the NCSS with my dd2. My problem is I can't seem to stay awake to do the pantley pull off from nursing. So sleep deprived! Any tips appreciated. Now that I know it can take 2 1/2 hrs before Sttn. I really want this to work.

Dd2 starts the. Night in her crib in my room then spends t he rest of the night in the. Family bed. No matter how she falls asleep- nursing, walking, briefly awake in crib she wakes shortly after. Also in the early night when I do the ppo she'll sleep for just a half hour & then wake! I have thought maybe I would try nursing her sitting up or in the rocker but I am a bit lazy. In the. Middle of the night.

Any success stories would be appreciated.

If I want to do the PPO, I have to sit up straight in the rocker.  Otherwise I am asleep in that rocker until the next wake up and that sucks!

That is what I have been thinking- I have to discipline myself to sit up & nurse. Please say it's worth it!
