My 3 yr old is resisting naps even though being very tired. The only way to get him to sleep seems to be nursing, in the stroller or carseat. Or just waiting until he falls asleep doing whatever - usually in his supper. Then he's awake late at night or early am. Not the end of the world but now I've signed him up for soccer which he's really enjoying & I want to make sure he's awake & had supper before soccer at 5:30. Any suggestions? I seem to be in the same boat for bedtime

Do you have an objection to nursing to sleep?  At three there is a good chance he won't be napping much longer any way, so if it is easy I would just go with it.
