We currently co-sleep with a crib sidecarred to our bed.  Our mattress is OLD.  I would love to get a king size chemical-free mattress.  Anyone have experience with one that they love?  I m having trouble deciding what firmness is appropriate for bed sharing ( I know firm is what to get, but does that mean I need a "firm" mattress or just avoid pillow tops?). Do I go latex or spring?  We eventually will put the mattress on the floor--any concern about mold with certain materials and their need to breather?  LO is 4.5 months right now, so we have some time before he is mobile.  Please share what has worked for you!  Thanks!

I have heard amazing things about latex beds. I don't currently own one, but am considering the shift. They last forever, too!
