Hello.  I am co sleeping with my now 9mo and the bed is getting a bit small for all of us. I was thinking about pushing a cot up to the side of our bed and putting a single sheet over it and the double bed so it's one surface to create a larger sleeping area. However, I don't know what to do to make it safe so that LO cannot fall off the bed during nap time. At the moment we are sleeping with the mattress on the floor but since doing that I've been getting a sore back.  I would like to know what other people have done to make similar set ups safe? Or if anyone has any suggestions?

Im guessing I'm a little late, but I have 2 single futons that are pushed together on ground level. Simple and effective
