I am in need of some wisdom! I have been co-sleeping with my 5 mo. old since she was born, and I love it. However, she does not seem to be able to sleep longer than 45 minute stretches without me next to her (unless she is in the carseat!). This is especially problematic at night, as she will not go down for the night until I go to bed. She will go down around 7:30 pm, but be up 45 minutes later.
I do not want to stop co-sleeping, but not sure how to get baby to sleep longer without me. Have any of you had similar experiences? Any ideas on how to prolong baby sleeping?
My daughter is 4.5 months old and the exact same way! I'll be interested to hear the responses....
I'm like you, I like co-sleeping and I nurse to sleep...but it would be nice to let dad put our girl down for a nap/bed once in a while.
