For all you sleepy frustrated or hopeless mommas out there, things can change! Dh and I have been working on adjusting bedtime routine for the last few months very gradually, because ds would only go to sleep nursing and would do so later and later and have to nurse longer and longer. (he sleeps the first part of the evening in his crib and then moves to our bed later on). And, drumroll!!!, for the last few nights dh has been able to put him to sleep, by rocking him a little and then letting him babble and sing in the crib on his own til he falls asleep, and the last two nights he even left while ds was still AWAKE!! (he fell asleep quietly within a few minutes) Yay!!

Wow! I can't imagine that happening at this point, dd is 9 mos. Although dh has already started asking how long she'll have to nurse to sleep. My major concern isn't nursing her to sleep, but I would like for her to be able to go back to sleep by herself every once in a while!

Living it up with DH, DD 6, DD 4, DS 1 and
