Is there a common sleep disturbance around 18 months? Holy crap, we are seeing a HUGE regression in dd's sleep behaviors right now and it's painful. I can't figure what's setting it off, perhaps family stress (my grandfather is dying) but my mommy instinct says that something else is at work.

She's generally sleeping less time, less well. Goes to sleep pretty easy; let's us know when she's tired and then we go lay down together and she nurses down. But there are lots of nightwakings, wants to nurse all night long, lots and lots of nipple biting while nursing, waking up too early--tired and crying . . . . : Dang! I feel like we're back to where we were 6 months ago, I thought we were past this stuff. :

So I'm wondering if this is a common developmental thing, or if it's just us.

Molars? Canine teeth? Both were terribly terribly painful for my DD.

It's a big teething time! It'll ease up soon...

In love with Dh since 1998. We created Ds (7.1.03), Dd (10.16.06) and Dd (3.16.09).
