I'm looking for a reference I've seen mentioned here before. I've read postings that suggest that there are studies that show that parents are quite good at identifying young gifted children. Can anyone refer me to any actual research that supports this statement? I've found that my experience supports this idea, but I'm working on an academic paper about young gifted kids so I need a SOURCE! :)
TIA for your help!
ETA: ooops, that should be "identifying" in the title... doh!
I asked the question a few years back...
Mom to a teenager and a middle schooler.
