I keep meaning to post a birth story and pictures, but after giving birth Monday, I got a high fever Tuesday, and now I still have a fairly high fever (103) but I also have a horrible sore throat. Needless to say I haven't felt like doing much.

Anyone have ideas about how to sooth a sore throat besides Ricola and salt water (and bubbly soda )

TIA!

How about a warm honey and lemon drink? Soothing and keeps up your fluids, too.

Sorry you are feeling ill.

For sore throats we use colloidal silver. It makes mine stop hurting right away and then i use again as needed.

sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. It seems in our dso's (doctor's standing orders) for sore throats was to gargle salt water. Last time I had one I just did generic immune boosting vit C(sodium ascorbate), zinc and echinicea- it was over pretty quick.

I guess I could, but I doubt it. Plus, I'd rather not take antibiotics and risk thrush.

I'm assuming that I am getting better since the fever is going down a bit.
