Ronan was 7lb1oz at birth, got down to 6lb4oz (I think) at two days, and was at 11lbs even last week at his check up (two months on the dot, 8w5d).

He's 22 1/8". And he found his thumb a week ago.

Chasing DS since April 2007 and pumping for DD March 2013.

I just looked at the picture and Ronan is not only wearing the same little romper that Quinn owns, but Quinn is wearing his right now!

Austin had his 2 month/9 week checkup today.I wanted to ask the dr to weigh him again as I didn't think it was very accurate b/c he was squirming and kicking so much while being weighed. But anyways, he's 13lbs 2oz, 26inches. He's starting to outgrow some of the 3-6 month clothes, and the 3-6 month pull up cloth covers are too tight around his legs already! He's got rolls everywhere! I thought for sure he was over 14 lbs. I'm going to weigh him later on my scales to see what it says.

Logan is 13 lbs 9 ounces at 4 months. We're supplementing with donor milk and I'm measuring his intake on many days -- but he still isn't gaining a lot. I think he is just going to be a thin kid like his mama and daddy were.

melissa, I've been following your bf'ing journey. I think you are doing great! I just wanted to encourage you about your baby's weight. I have a niece born Feb. 23 (so she's just about 5 months). She is about 26" and 14 lbs. She isn't particularly chubby, but is growing well, and meeting milestones. FWIW, she is FF (after 2 months of not gaining, poor muscle tone, FTT, etc.; my SIL worked very hard to BF, but finally decided that her baby just needed more than she was able to provide.). You must be doing something right for your little guy to be growing that well! Keep up the good work!

Thanks - it has been a rough road for us. My lactation consultant was amazed that I had built up my supply to almost full considering I have insufficient tissue. When I took my pre/post feeding weighs in, she said I had beat all records for number of nursing sessions per day. It still saddens me that I've not been able to have the relaxed breastfeeding relationship I longed for AND that I can't quite make a full supply AND that we went for so long without knowing what the problem was... Plus, once I had to face the fact that I had to supplement with something, it was hard to decide what to do. Now that I've gotten comfortable with using donor milk it is easier for me. Our days are still insane. I feed him every 1-2 hours in the day and 2-3 at night, with a 4 hour stretch rarely. The blessing in this situation is my son (in so many ways) but particularly because he is such an excellent nurser and satisfied with little bursts of milk at a time. He will be happy with 1.5 ounces (from both breasts) at a feeding! I still get depressed about it at times but I figure I make up for my body's failure with dedication!

He is growing, meeting all milestones and the orange diapers have gone away - and when he smiles up at me while nursing, it is SOO worth it!
