Hi,
My 27 month old is currently unvaxed. We're considering the DTaP, mostly for the tetanus component, which I know she is "unlikely" to get, but it's the one that seriously scares me.

Problem is that I'm in Canada and from what I can tell through the research I've done, I can't just get the DTaP anymore - it now contains Hep B, HIB and Polio all in the one shot, which I feel is too many at once.

Does anyone know if I can get just the DTaP in Canada (I'm in Vancouver, B.C.)? Or, should I make a trip across the border if I do decide to get it (so I can get just the three)?

Thanks!

You might just have to call around because combo shots are just more cost saving, so a lot of places probably switch over but maybe try some family practices instead of peds, kwim? You might have more luck that way.
