We are delaying our son's vaccines at least until 6 months. I heard somewhere that there are certain foods you can give your children before they get vaxed to help them deal better with the vaccines and reduce the chances of harmful side effects. Does anyone know what these foods are? Also, if I'm breastfeeding and I eat these foods will that help my son with the vaccines?
Thanks for any information.
Both Stephanie Cave and Kenneth Bock have suggestion about supplements to take before and after vaccines. Not sure if I've seen specific FOOD recommendations, unless you consider that you can get some of these suggested vitamins and minerals via food (but not likely in the recommended quantities).
DS, 10/07. Allergies: peanut, egg, wheat. We've added dairy back in. And taken it back out again. It causes sandpaper skin with itchy patches and thrashing during sleep. Due w/ #2 late April, 2012.
