umm, if Subway is BAD, then I'm eating horribly...!

so yeah. update on that pumpkin pie milkshake--evil, evil creation....

that day, after downing half the milkshake with unparalleled gusto (along with a box of seasoned curly fries with cheese), I realized that i had had two egg mcmuffins for breakfast, three slices of domino's for lunch, and with m&ms inbetween

i decided to swear off junk food. mostly.

and then i bought a bag of doritos and some sour cream donuts yesteray evening AAAHHHHHGG!!!!

Thursday at 11am I was starving and on the way to the grocery store. I knew that wasn't a good idea, to shop whilst hungry, so I stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got DS and I each an egg & cheese sandwich on croissants. Only 99 cents right now! I wolfed mine down and loved it. The mushed down, flakey croissant, the melted american cheese on the perfectly round egg product patty - ! Warm and delicious.

DS only had a few bites of his. We left it in the car while we shopped. He didn't want any more of it when we got back to the car, so...I ate his, too!

I am a little sick of myself and my naughty behaviors. It seems some of us are on the same page and are starting to "feel better" (laughs to self as my tummy feels like angery weasles are playing croquet)

Though I know, deep down that I will be in this thread eternally I am off to start another anti-thesis thread.

Ok, this sounds alot like my day yesterday. Except that I had one egg/bacon mcmuffin, one sausage mcmuffin and two hash browns for breakfast, a 9 inch garlic fingers with extra cheese and bacon for lunch, and two cheeseburgers with fries and gravy for supper. I won't bother mentioning the various "snacks" sprinkled in between.

Wow guys. I felt bad for eating my 1.2lb steak for dinner last night (nice and rare too....sorry veggies!) but at least it's mostly healthy and has lots of protein!!! Oh, and that's all I ate.... except I had a salad for a snack about 2 hrs before dinner.

Yesterday we drove up to the mountains to see the beautiful fall colors, and stopped by an orchard and a small, organic creamery on the way home. We picked up some great jams, jellies, apples, cheeses, and milk.

So, last night for "dinner":
several chunks of smoked cheddar cheese
several chunks of pepper jack cheese
whole wheat biscuit dunked in "biscuit 'lasses" (aka tasty syrup)
toast with pumpkin butter
toast with apple butter
a big glass of chocolate milk made with fabulous non-homogenized whole milk and generic crappy fake choco-syrup.

And I wonder why I sat in bed feeling yucky all night... Duh!

Wife of one and mom of five, including my HBAC twins!

Today has been the day of eating bad food:

Breakfast: leftover mashed potatos
Lunch: cheeseburger and tater tots that DH made on the grill
assorted Halloween candy
several squares of rice krispy treats

and now I'm off to meet some friends at a diner for dinner- where I'm sure to eat even more healthy food!!!

Oh come on! Halloween's come and gone and nobody else has posted here since?
I have eaten a million teeny tiny versions of Milk Duds, Milky Way Midnights, Twix and Almond Joy in the past 24 hours. And dang were they good. But I feel a little huge now. Sigh. Life's a trade-off. I'm hoping dh will finish the rest tonight so there will be no more left when I wake up in the morning. Otherwise, I may have to practice restraint tomorrow...which hasn't been going well since the morning sickness ended...

Fine, fine...I'll post the horrible truth here for all to see.

My halloween confessional...

- started out good with oatmeal and juice
- lots of mini candies sprinkled throughout the day
- started getting bad w/ a trip to Taco Bell (grilled stuft burrito w/ steak and nachos)
- Went downhill fast w/ 2 Hot dogs with relish and ketchup
- 20oz root beer
- Frito Boat (bag of fritos with chili dumped on top)
- more tiny bags of candy

I am ashamed...sort of. M/S is totally gone now, and what used to make me feel sick even to think about is somehow sounding pretty good these days. But hey! I took both prenatal vitamins yesterday! That's a first, I'm usually lucky to choke down one

I am lucky that I don't like candy... and will only eat it if it really is staring me right in the face. So, I put it away in the cupboard. Every holiday I throw it out, making room for the next holiday treats to stash and then toss. Such a waste, but better than getting sick and/or fat.

I have been so into Starbucks Decaf Lattes. And I hadn't drank coffee in 3 years - I had been drinking green tea. But somehow I am totally put off by green tea, and am craving coffee... weird.
