We need some girl names. My only requirement is that it's 4 letters. Like lily, maya, sara, etc.

Our last name is pretty long and lovely on it's own, so a simple first name is kind of necessary!

Our DC's names are Jade, Adam and Luke so I'd also like to have the new babes name go with the flow of the other kids. Something easy to yell from the back porch to bring them all back in, KWIM?!

Jesse, wife to DH , mama to DD 13, DS 11, DS 8, DD 6, DS 3 & bean EDD 12/18/13

Oh, I love Hope, Rose and Iris. I love Lily, too, but it sounds awful with our last name. too many LLLLL's going on!

Sasha, that's too funny! Wouldn't that be a trip if we named them the smae again?! The delivery nurse where DS was born had an Adam and a Luke as well.

I like Kai. And, yeah, I'm sure Adam and Eve woud would raise some eyebrows. Although I love the name Eve. I also like Eden, but DH doesn't love it!

we dont' think much about names before the baby is born, (even though I have known the sex of the baby beforehand)
I just figure when they come out they look like a name with that said most of the names I think of are a lot longer, but I do love Eden and Eve What about Evry ?

We usually try to have a list of the top 3 names, then decide after they are born. When Jade was born we went through our list and she just was Jade. No question. With Adam we had to get to know him for awhile first, then we knew he was Adam. Luke was Luke before he was born, although that isn't how I usually name our babies! When we were going through names and DS and DD loved Luke and started calling him Luke and it just stuck. And when he was born, he was Luke..the middle name took quite a bit longer to figure out though!

I like Wren and Sage and Evry. Katy...Emma is one of my all time favorites, too. And Ella! Dh not so much, but maybe he'll come around. I really like Sara, too, but it brings up bad memories for him.

Ivy or Fern. I love botanical names, obviously.

I don't like Niky, but Nike is a wonderful goddess name. Kind of spoilt by the shoe company, though.

What about Athena or Diana, then?

Those aren't four letters. With the four letter restriction, lots of names are out of the running!

I did not realize Iris was becoming popular. That was DD"s birthname, I thought it was a little odd. I really like Brona, Elsa, Isabelle.

Really? What boys names have you found that you like? I've only found 2 so far that I like (neither of them being the one dp is practically insisting on) for a boy ... I had pages of girls names before he deleted most of them!

I posted a few of mine (that I don't plan to use) in the other girls name thread.

My daughters name is kaya rain (pronounced ki-ya, like pp). If I had it to do over again, I would change the spelling to kiya rain. People have trouble pronouncing it the right way and call her kay-ya.

I'm also in love with Lily and Anna
