I'm pg with my first, due 5/12. I noticed that sometimes the tip of my nipple (s) is (are) dark purple...almost like dye rubbed off on it, even though I haven't worn anything with purple/dark dye on it! If I press on it, it turns pink again. What is this all about? Thanks!

OK, first of all - you've been a member here for almost three years and this is your only post so far! Too funny! Welcome to MDC!

I have no idea, but it sounds normal to me. Nipples and the areola around them get darker and um, bigger and more gorilla-like during pregnancy (pointing down). Only way to describe it. ROFL Our boobs are doing all sorts of stuff getting ready to nourish a life.
