went for a prenatal today at the mw. I am 38 wks and 4 days (but who is counting right...?) Anywho, the fetal tones where higher in my belly and for a moment we thought the baby might have turned breech. She did an internal exam and the baby's head is down but not as low as last week.

Last week, the head was way down and firmly engaged. I don't understand how it could of gone up.

So...all today I keep flipping out when the baby moves thinking it will turn.

She can do breech at home, but it I do end of having a c-section I could never have a homebirth again (it's against the law here in AZ).

Please say a prayer that this baby stays put. He/she is such a mover!!
I have been trying to stand a good part of the day hoping that this would lessen the chance of the baby turning.....I am so nervous!:

Heres hoping that baby stays head down and behaves. The other morning I felt hiccups way up high and just as I started to focus on it the baby moved and they started up again much lower.Already testing us, little monkeys.

Dear Josette's Baby,

HEAD DOWN NOW! I mean it!

Hang in there -- there's still plenty of time for the little one to burrow right down where he or she is supposed to be!

ok, after not sleeping too well last night because I thought the baby would turn I called the midwife.

She assured me she could deliver a breech if need be.

I felt more at peace...he/she had hiccups and I felt them low.
