I'm due at the end of the month. Today after having peed I felt a wierd wet sensation. Thinking I just hadn't wiped well I lifted my shorts leg and looked in the mirror. There was a funky glob on my leg, the size of a nickel, maybe. There were no streaks of red or brown, it was slighty yellowish and the consistanct of thick mucous. I don't know if it's part of the plug or just....??? Any ideas? (If you're not too grossed out to respond)

That's happened to me a couple times this weekend - well, a glob dropping out of my while I walked (twice) and another when I coughed, and lots of lesser globs here and there - and I figure it's my plug, so my guess is yes, that's part of your plug! Mine were also yellow and snotty looking, but some is more white.

It sounds like it might be your plug. But try not to get too excited, some people lose bits and pieces of their plug for a while, I've grown a new plug twice now

It's part of your plug but I'm also losing mine in bits and pieces and I'm sure it's regenerating in the meantime. Could mean you're dilating a bit but as the PPs said, don't get too excited!

Thanks, mamas. I'm a little early yet- 36 weeks, plus a few days. They are already talking induction at 39 weeks because of GD, so I've been talking to the baby and hoping we go before then. (NOT quite this early, though) When I tossed around the idea of it being a bit of plug, It made me nervous and excited at the same time. A good friend said not to sweat it- she lost large pieces of her mucous plug weeks before real labor began.
