From about 10 or 11 am until about 6:30 I was having contractions regularly. They started at about 20mins apart then got to 15 minutes apart. I laid down to play videogames with DH ( and they spaced out a bit and I didn't notice one for 30-40 minutes. I got up to come play on the computer ( and I had two contractions right in a row. Any time I get up I get more contractions.
SO, WWYD? Should I go for a walk and maybe elicit some sex from DH or should I chill out and not do diddly until tomorrow after an hopefully good night sleep?

I like night also so I would go for a walk, get some loving, and see what comes of it But, if you feel exhausted, then I would sleep now so you have your strenght (although I would likely not be able to sleep - that is just how I am).

I would say sleep...but I know I wouldn't be able to sleep. So instead I say go have some fun with your dh. You can sleep in a few months!

i think you should walk and DTD tonight and then in the morning walk and DTD again!

you should start a poll - it will be much easier to tally your results

We could have a combo labor watch thread. It will be effecient.
I think I'm going to go to bed and try to get some "deed" , but if he's resistant at all (or if his breath smells) I'll just not.

My recommendation is to do things that are appropriate to the time of day, whether you're in labor or not . So you can always DTD twice with some sleep inbetween if necessary, right?! Or have the baby tonight if you need to. What do you feel like doing when you take off the giddy layer of "is this it?!!?!" ?

I went to bed last night *right* after my post (which is what I felt like doing) and I ended up not trying to DTD because DH was snoring already but then *just* as I was drifting off into slumber land DH decided to try so we did (and it was better than it's been in quite a while. . . ).
I slept pretty darn well all night while my cervix marinated in natural prostaglandins Whenever I did awake to pee or whatever (on my normal schedule) I would have one or two slightly more intense contractions.
At 5:30 I woke up and normally would go back to sleep but I'm now hungry and excited. So I'm up eating a bowl of canned (100% juice at least) peaches .

Just from timing the few contractions I've had since sitting on the birth ball here typing they look to be ~about~ 6-8 minutes apart. . .having one right now. . .and a bit more intense than last night.

I'm excited, but I'm still sending DH to work.

So a walk is on the schedule for this morning. Should I go for a nice walk in my neighborhood or should I go to the grocery store and walk there while gettting the stuff on my "labor shopping list"?

Ok, maybe the contracts are 4-5 minutes apart. Hmmm. gotta poo.

here comes your little swimmer!!! i wouldn't stray too far from home....but maybe that's just me. take a walk around the neighborhood, fiddle around the house, do something mindless. dh can always stop by the store on his way home, right?

glad you had fun last night! now we wait for the update.....

I've been puttering around the house, but the contractions are back to about every 10-15 minutes. I guess they were just strong when I woke up because of the fresh pressure from being upright. I'm going to go to the store and putter some more. I still think things are going to intensify sooner rather than later, but for now it's not looking *imminent*

I would head to the store now - that is how I am. I would want everything in order before having the baby and so checking it off my list would be just what I needed to make the baby come out (I know I am obsessive).

Sending you so many positive labor vibes!

Nothing too exciting happening today. I haven't really been keeping track of how often I am having ctxs, they seem to have stayed in the 15-20 minute range though. I took a looooong super deep nap and when I woke up my hips felt all weird and ouchy and I was having a ctx.
Nesting has gone on in full force in my waking moments only being interrupted by a really intense ctx every now and again.
It'll be a little while yet, me thinketh.
