This is the 3rd day this week! Ahhhh. I want to crawl into a hole and not come out. Is it something about the 9th week?

I can't believe you posted this! I spent yesterday in bed with the first migraine I've had since HS. I'm also in my ninth week . . . and I hope NOT to have a repeat!!

Hope you feel better soon . . .

Me too! I am 8 and a half weeks and have had terrible headaches for the past couple of days. I feel better today, though. I wonder if my body has kicked up its need for liquids--I often get headaches from dehydration, so I am trying to drink extra water.

i also had a migraine over the weekend - it lasted from saturday to monday!: not fun at all.
i usually take excedrin migraine but obviously can't now so i just whimpered through it kept the blinds closed and tried to get lots of rest. poor ds watched a lot of tv but there was nothing i could do.
i'm also hoping that his was a one-time thing but i know that hormones can trigger so it makes sense.

good luck. let me know if you find any safe remedies...

i get migraines regularly (though not with this pregnancy so far - knock on wood!) and i use tiger balm on the back of my neck which my doc said is totally ok to use while pregnant. i find it to be a total miracle product for migraines and headaches.. i used to hate the smell (it IS very strong) but now i associate it with relief so it smells great to me.

hope that might help..

I almost posted this today! I am just at 6 wks. but have had at least one or two bad headaches every week since before I thought AF was due. After reading other posts though Im going to start drinking more and see how that helps.

tiger balm huh? Never tried that. That stuff is strong. DH has told me to try Vicks, but I think the Tiger Balm would be stronger.

I have had a few headaches this time around. I got them early on with DS, too. Luckily, I never got migraines during my last pg, though I get them periodically (usually about 4 per year nowadays.)

My pg headaches feel like the pressure is wrong between the inside of my head and the outside world. I don't get this kind of headache usually.

The midwife told me Tuesday to be sure to call if I get a migraine as there are some prescription meds that are safe for occasional use in pregnancy.

Last pg, I did have to take Tylenol a few times, though I tried/try to avoid any drugs while pg and generally.

Everyone knows that aspirin and ibuprofin are no-no's, right? (Although I only learned Tuesday that ibuprofin is apparently okay during the second trimester only. Who knew? I would still call before taking any during pg, though.)
