I get that too. Haven't gotten it the full nine months, but I have certainly been having it since the second trimester.. I'm not sure when exactly it started, but it is quite painful.

Anyone know what it is? Cause it is really quite bothersome and I have been wondering.

I've really started to get this as of last night and today! I'm 35 weeks--too early, baby!

We took a walk, and, literally, feels like a knitting needle stuck up through me. It makes me yelp periodically.

I'm debating calling my practitioner (as I just posted about in the weekly thread) because I just have felt so darn weird and different last night and today...

I've been getting a lot of stretching and jabbing sensations in my cervix and they sometimes surprise me but they haven't been really painful. 's to all the mamas getting skewered.

Sorry... I'm in the July group... saw this in new posts.... but I've been having this too! For me it's only been once in a while, so far... I'm not looking forward to it being more frequent, especially since I expect to go towards 42 weeks. I'm hoping it just means that maybe my baby will come a little earlier than expected, though....

Sounds like cervical stretching. Doesn't at all mean that you are dilating, or that you'll have your babes early. No worries!
