Okay, last pregnancy I got that cruch pregnancy yoga video, then joined a class that I remembered enjoying. In the past couple of years I have found a teacher I LOVE. She has become a really good friend and I think she is a magical teacher!!! But I've moved and she doesn't do prenatal yoga anyways.
I've tried one class I just thought was ridiculous. No yoga really at all, just women getting over excited about being pregnant and being a little to embarrassed at the thought of perenial massage.
But my yoga teacher friend visited yesterday and designed a yoga practice that is exactly what I want, minus the socialising. I'm getting a bolster and I'm just so happy about it! Just had to share.
How have your prenatal yoga/exercise experiences been this time around?

I really wanted to do some kind of water exercise and a yoga class. I can't find a prenatal yoga class anywhere though, so I think I'm going to get the Shiva Rae (sp?) video. My hubby's coworker has a friend that took a water exercise class not too long ago, so he is supposed to find out where and let me know. I want to get out and do something with other pregnant mamas, so I really hope this class works out for me!

I'm doing a a prenatal excersise group 4 days a week and yoga once a week. It's been great. I really reccomend a group workout class. My gym has a class for each due date month that meets 4 days a week and just does different exercises and concentrates on nutrition as well.

I use the crunch video and it works just fine for me, but I've never taken a class!

I actually happen to be a prenatal yoga teacher - and I recommend Shiva Rea's video for home practice...It is easy to follow, adapts to the different trimesters easily - and gives you a comfortable but thorough workout - without being too challenging...
I have been seriously lagging in my personal practice, but I am starting a class at my midwife's office - so that will motivate me to get my practice up and running...
