Baby's Name: Owen Lewis
Baby's EDD: July 5th
Baby's actual Birthdate: June 25th
Something Unique about this baby: He is the easiest little guy ever--very alert and content. And happily sleepy!
How is mom & family adjusting? We're doing well, but the constant bickering of my older two kids is about to drive me over the edge!

Not sure if this will work or not, but here's a Photobucket slideshow. If it doesn't work, I'll put in share single photos later.

Baby's name: Claire
EDD: June 28th (changed from July 3rd)
Birth Date: June 9th
Something unique: She has a little birthmark on her right leg
How are we adjusting? Great! I love that we have the summer to adjust before school starts. We have had lots of lazy summer days as a family to get used to each other. Now that she is 6 weeks old, we are ready to get out a bit more. By the end of August, I hope to have mastered the art of getting us all out the door in a presentable way. The adjustmnt to 3 children has presented challengs, but really, the kids help alot and love their new sister SO much!

I finally figured out how to share pictures! These are from a few weeks ago, but it is all I could find on my laptop, I would love to share the birth pictures later..... Also, there is a picture of her in my new moby wrap, I included it because that is how we are getting around these days. I love it!

Baby's Name: Thomas Edward
Baby's EDD: July 5
Baby's actual Birthdate: July 2
Something Unique about this baby: VERY EASY! OK, it could just be the difference between spirited child & non-spirited child, but he's been pretty easy to figure out so far.
How is mom & family adjusting? Not too bad considering we moved from San Diego to Austin last week
and share a baby pic or two!!

If only I had some from this week to share. Unfortunately, I'm using dh's grandfather's computer until we move into our new house so I can't get the good stuff off my computer. Here's a couple pics of our new house, though!

we're adjusting pretty well. sometimes company can be overwhelming and i completely lose my composure, but it feels good to just let it all out. last night was extremely peaceful, after two really hard nights, so im feeling pretty content this morning.

Gee, you don't have to ask twice! Don't we love to show off our babies!?

Baby's Name: Baby Girl: Eliot
Baby's EDD: 7-9-07
Baby's actual Birthdate: 7-11-07
Something Unique about this baby: Am I a bad mom for not coming up with anything unique?!? At least so far she is your "run of the mill" newborn!! Though she's pretty special to us!
How is mom & family adjusting? Good so far, but "real life" hasn't started yet, becuase DH is off of work until 8/6 so I havn't had to do the 3 kids thing on my own yet. So I'll get back to you!

I thought this was hilarious, Ahdoula! Before this baby had a name we used to call him 'the generic, no-name brand baby'

Baby's Name: Gavin Christopher
Baby's EDD: July 25
Baby's actual Birthdate: July 16

Something Unique about this baby: He is the most snuggly, cuddly baby who ever lived. He loooves to be held, to sleep right up against me at night, and he even lets me rub his head without getting all squirmy like my other kids used to! He also snorts like a baby pig when he cries.

How is mom & family adjusting? We are doing FABULOUSLY. My kids love their new brother, especially my 20-month-old, who I was so worried about. She has not shown one ounce of jealousy at all -- our biggest "problem" is getting her to stop kissing him on the mouth 200 times a day (she has a cold)!

I had *such* a quick recovery from this babe, too. I am feeling totally and completely back to normal again. My baby belly is almost completely gone, and I feel completely healed everywhere. I am convinced that it's the breastfeeding that did the trick. (This is my first time successfully breastfeeding!)

Here's a pic of my snugglebug from last night:

OMG, Lindsay - Gavin's little fuzzy head of hair is to DIE for. That reminds me so much of DD2, though she didn't get that degree of fuzziness for several months (I called her fuzz head, too - man it was so cute). I couldn't keep my nose and cheek out of her hair, it was just so soft and sweet.

Baby's Name: Alexander Michael
Baby's EDD: July 4th
Baby's actual Birthdate: June 28th
Something Unique about this baby: He does not always want to nurse to sleep sometimes he would rather be tossed in the sling and bounced or walked. He makes cute little grunting noises when he wants to eat.
How is mom & family adjusting? Getting into the swing of things with two kids takes time. I am finally starting to feel semi-normal again.

Oh, I love those sweet babies! It makes me want to get the camera out and do another photo shoot!

Barb- I love the tie dye on the sweet sleeping boy! Did you do that?

ahdoula- I had trouble thinking of something unique too. It doesn't make you or the baby any less perfect!

You mamas with the 10 pounders rock! My six week old is almost caught up! When I look at her, I can't imagine........

Something Unique about this baby: he is the most beautiful baby in the world! okay, he has dark hair growing in blonde underneath so it almost looks like it's graying.
How is mom & family adjusting?: well, let's say I'm glad the only post partum challenge has been ds1, because that is quite enough! he is very high energy and really the epitomy of the 2 year old power struggler. we're having a hard time with him not understanding how to be gentle with the baby and he wants to pull on him and pinch him and wake him up a lot.

happy mama and baby

I love all of these baby pictures! Is it just me or do we make some of the cutest babies in the world?!?!

Name: Hayleigh Alexandra
EDD: July 7th
Birthdate: July 10th
Something unique: She was born on her big brother's birthday and he absolutely adores her.
How are we adjusting: It's going OK. Hayleigh still is not back to birthweight, so I am working hard with an LC to get things going in the right direction. Otherwise, the older kids are taking to her well, and we've even gone out in public a few times!!

I put some new pics on my blog http://kiddyland.blogspot.com

Something Unique about this baby: he has hair, which his brothers definetly did not have
How is mom & family adjusting? we're taking the long way around the adjustment thing, but Mark has at least decided to acknowledge my existence as of this morning, and he's given Jeffrey a few passing glances. I'm worried about him being aggressive later on since he's been so "oblivious" so far.

Baby's name: Cameron James
EDD: July 28
Birthdate: July 19
Something unique: lots of blond hair, like cornsilk! We have yet to bathe him at 10 days old! I think tonight may be the night. I just hate to wash away that lovely new-baby smell...:
How is everyone adjusting? I'm doing great physically. I was up and about much sooner this time, which was good but also got me less sympathy and less time being waited on! We've been all over the place from about day 3 onwards. DS is acting out a lot and has been trying to pinch/swat/squeeze etc. his baby brother a bit. I had hoped that at nearly 3.5 he'd be past that stage. Having your second is hard! Oh, and we've all been sick, only now recovering, since a couple days before Cameron made his appearance, so that's been a bit difficult too. :
