I have alot from my loss that I had in August. I already feel like my regular pants are getting tight, so I will see how long this time it will take for me to start wearing them.

I started buying some at the end of the summer when they were on sale assuming I'd have an early fall baby (planned to TTC as a surrogate in Feb/March, but oops, here we are.) Those underbelly pants with the thick elastic (vs. full tummy panel) are so comfy I was tempted wear them when I bought them! Now I have an excuse!

No, but I'm dying to buy cute summery maternity stuff. I think after Christmas I will, when I maybe get some energy back, nausea subsides and the stores aren't so busy.

My maternity clothes are from 1997. So I'm hoping I could borrow from my SIL eventually.

I bought a few loose-fitting sweaters. They aren't maternity, but I think they will work. I have some items from pregnancy #1 that I can wear later.

Tis the season, for hot apple cider!

I was thinking about this as Old Navy is having a sale but because this is my first and it's a summer baby, I don't have a clue how maternity sizing works.

How can you predict what you will wear in say May or June? I'd love to get some basics b/c everything's so cheap right now. They had jeans for $10. And this gorgeous black wrap dress that I'd really like.

Any advice? Experiences?

Almost all of my pants are too tight and most of my shirts are too tight and seem to be getting too short. It won't be long before I break down and buy some things.

it's that same sale at old navy that's tempting me! i want the sweater twin sets (already out of my size in red ) and a couple of pairs of pants. i know i will need black pants and i figure brown couldn't hurt.

i also lust for the nursing clothes at www.motherwear.com and the dan$ko $hoe$ which my pregnant colleague swore by.

I haven't bought actually maternity stuff yet, but I did buy some stretchy cotton pants. I sooo love that I can wear comfortable pants right now.

I'm excited to have a summer baby, both of my others were in the dead of winter.

A pair of pants, and my SIL loaned me a huge bag of clothes. I'm also wearing some of DH's shirts on the days I wear my old pants so that I can go without buttoning or zipping.

(DDC hopping, I have a feeling my babe will be late July!)

I needed a pair of black pants (and a pretty shirt to wear to a New Year's party) and it didn't really make sense to shop anywhere *but* the maternity section/stores. I found I'm not ready yet for maternity pants, so I got some yoga pants and a few maternity shirts. Also mom and sis each bought me a maternity shirt for Christmas.

If I remember correctly you just buy the size that you are normally. So, I am normally an extra small in non-maternity clothes, so I buy extra small in maternity.

I just bought a sundress that was on sale at motherwear...but they don't have "extra small" (or at least not that I saw), so I have no idea if it will ever really fit. It was only 9.95 though, so if not, oh well!

I have also ordered a few bella bands in different colors. I know that I will need them for work so I wanted to make sure that they were on hand! I am hoping to wear non-maternity clothes for most of my pregnancy. The maternity clothes rarely fit me properly since I am short and small...

If there is a Motherhood near by, go check it out. Lots of sale stuff and fairly reasonable prices on non-sale stuff. Good selection for lots of different tastes. I went there yesterday and cannot believe the difference it makes to buy clothes that fit...mentally wise. I am only 10 weeks, but cannot fit into any of my clothes and looked really "frumpy" and chubby in the ones I was trying to wear. I am so glad and thankful to have a few shirts and pants that fit me now!

If I see something great at the Thrift Store or a garage sale I snap it up. I'm trying to wait to buy new stuff until I need it but I have been online window shopping quite a bit.

I kept everything from when I was pregnant with my boys It will basically be all the wrong season (They were both late winter/early spring babies) I am starting to wear some of the smaller jeans with longish sweatters and turtlenecks. I bought 2 or 3 shirts off the clearance rack at Target last month (like $4 each ) I plan to buy a patern and some fabric next month and start making some sundresses for May, June, and July (I'm gonna be sooooooo hot : )

DH&Me  Christ follower, homeschooler, gardener, (insert lots of additional crunchiness here) chicken mama, & occasionally blogger. intactlact.gifMama of  boys 9,7,3.5,&11months....& SURPRISE jaw2.gif  expecting a BOY in November!  7 sweet-babes gone too soon.

Ah, I just bought some yesterday at Old Navy. Yes, I am only 6 weeks, yes this is my first, and sadly my nonpregnant pants are just too freakin uncomfortable. Getting into those maternity pants was like AHHHHH. Now I actually feel like a skinny girl again
