OK, so I admit it -even when I'm not pregnant, I have a tendancy to impulse shop. However, most of the time, I'm able to keep those impulses reasonably under control.

Not when gestating, however. I went into Brooks yesterday so I could get a drink, and I walked out with a huge bag of stuff. Now, it's not like Brooks is a place to find quality goods. I think I scrapped the bottom of the barrel however. Check it out:
-Peanut Butter
-Marshmallow Fluff
-Pringles (sea salt and vinegar)
-Fruity snacks (the gummi kind)
-Chocolate, lots of it
-soup
-Saltine Crackers
-Triscuit Crackers
-oh, and more chocolate

I just got to the checkout counter and had no excuse for the crap that I was buying.... except that I'm pregnant, and I'm remembering why DH used to hate when I was shopping while pregnant with DS.

*sigh*

But the fluff tastes so good... and since I just had half a jar, surely the trip was justified!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I used to only be attracted to health foods but no more. I've really been craving those fruity gummi thingies myself...:
I wonder what the fluff would taste like WITH the chocolate?

Yes, me too, which again, is the main reason that I shouldn't go shopping whilst pregnant. I see something and say, that sounds really good... I want that... I'm going to buy that. Regardless of nutritional value or of the amount of money in my bank.

But I think I'm going to go enjoy some salt and vinegar chips for breakfast!

I'm glad I am not alone. DH said the other day that he likes when I am pregnant cause we have more food and snacks in the house.
Lately my impulse buys have included:
Nutella ...mmmmm
potato chips
frozen pizza
saltines
Grandma's peanut butter sandwich cookies
Hashbrown patties

Mmm. I was just thinking about Nutella yesterday. Sounds so good.

OK, I just went to look up *how* bad it is. Umm, not good. But they have a contest to win a free case: http://www.nutellausa.com/giveaway.htm
