I suddenly feel full after not eating that much. I used to be able to eat lots. Now I just end up feeling bloated & huge. How can this kid be taking up so much room when it only weighs 9 oz?

At this rate I'll gain a gazillion pounds.

I do that too. I make a delicious supper, take two bites and my appetite is gone.

Yup. Or alternately, a meal that tasted wonderful for the first few bites suddenly becomes revolting.

OMG this cracked me up! Not because I've tried exactly that or anything lately, with EXTRA onions!

I have been feeling like this too. Blech.

But it sounded SOOOO good. We won't talk about how many of them I ate while pregnant with dd.... I'd resisted them thus far. Back to resisting....

LOTS of water seems to have improved things.....

Yeah, my problem is if I eat too much I am sooo thirsty, then I can't drink enough water because I am too full. I have got to get the portions under control...small meals more frequently, small meals more frequently, small meals more frequently. LOL

But I am CRAVING onions on everything. My poor kids!

Oh just you wait. For the final month of my pregnancy with DS, I was practically on a liquid diet. I'd have about two bites of anything and get full... but I could drink milk, protein shakes, smoothies, etc, and got my nutrition that way. It was miserable because I WANTED food but couldn't handle it.

But, at this stage, it's probably the hormones. Digestion and your metabolism slows down during pregnancy (why many people gain weight), and this can make you feel full very quickly. Try smaller, frequent meals. Or, skip meals all together, and just eat something nutritious every hour. Yogurt, nuts, half a sandwich, boiled egg, etc. You can set a watch in the beginning so you remember to keep up the frequent meals.

Hope you can have a big meal soon.

Right there with you ladies . . . this just started for me over the last few days. Weird for me, because I've always been able to eat my DP under the table! It's all I can do to eat an entire anything -- bowl of soup, salad, sandwich. Where did my stomach go?

My problem is that I overeat before my brain gets the message that I'm full. Then I feel waaaaayyyy gross. But it wouldn't have been right to skip apple crisp last night, would it?

Totally there with you all on this one! Food is a strange companion right now. I also get heartburn if I continue to push to eat. Not fun at all! But apparently I am getting enough food. Babies are "weigh" ahead of schedule

Me, too! I've taken to splitting sandwiches with dh at lunch (he's a lite eater until after midnight!) My most difficult hurdle is explaining to dh at dinners to not cook so much food! We've been microwave free for a couple of months now, and reheating food in the oven/stovetop just ruins so many dishes. I can't get the darn grocery bill undercontrol if he keeps cooking for an army and not a little pg tummy!

That was me last month. It was surprising. I was always hungry but then I'd get full so quickly. Now, I *wish* I had that problem!! I can't get enough to eat!! I feel like a cow!!
