Anyone know of a great book on body changes etc. that are happening during puberty?  Dd is 9 & dyslexic, so lots of pictures is best.

American Girl book The Care and Keeping of You is a frequent rec here.  It's a good first book.

DD really enjoyed "Care & Keeping of You" (I think we got it for her at 8, but could have been 9).  "It's So Amazing" is in comic format if you think that would be helpful:

Care and Keeping of You is perfect for a 9 yr old. My dds have loved it. We also have It's So Amazing which is geared toward reproduction. Care and Keeping of You is all about girls (no boy stuff) and includes things like healthy eating, and where to keep pads or tampons, and what to do if you leak at school, how often to shower and greasy hair, etc. It's not all about getting your period so much as healthy living for the middle grade girl. Lots of pictures.

My 11 year old son is very dyslexic. This website http://kidshealth.org/ has an option that reads out loud to you with no additional software needed. I thought the puberty tutorials were good.

I highly recommend the series by Robie Harris. There are a few, for different ages. They are spectacular!
