Specifically wondering if there are any conclusive studies out there on the adverse effects of video games (non-violent ones, like Doodle Jump) to kids. And do violent games show effects? What effects? Maybe none? That would be a huge relief. Is there anything that says that those strategy games are good for kids?
My kids want to watch videos and play games all the time. Are non-violent games worse than bad Disney shows like iCarley, Good Luck Charlie and crap like that? (I have an 11 yr old girl who loves those) I am open to your thoughts.
Mom of a 6 yr old boy and one 11 yr old gal who love the iPad!
I'm sorry I don't have any info to share but I am bumping this up for more attention. There are lots of knowledgeable parents out there.
