hi everyone,im going to be writing a research paper on teen parents and the way that society views them.i would like everyones opinion on this.how u view teen parents, support, critisize them, etc.i am also looking for people to interview who are/were teen parents at one point.this is for my college composition and reasearch class-thanks a bunch.
you might want to check out the new book by Deborah Davis, You Look Too Young To Be a Mother (google it, or amazon.com) it's a collection of essays by teen mamas, and it's supposed to be pretty empowering.
I dunno if this counts seeing as how I was "legal" by the time I had her, but I gave birth to DD1 three months after my 18th birthday. It was very hard being a teen parent. In hindsight I see what a crappy mother I was and I try to make up for it now by just being there and loving her more!! If you want to PM me, feel free.
yes i did,and im going to ask there at the young momsjust wanted to post this here also because i would like other peoples views on this.and also if anyone knew any good info or books(the above one helped im going to purchase it asap!)thanks
