I am so sorry ((HUGS)). I can relate to your story, I also have a much younger sister that didn't really connect with mom. I also tried hard to be an advocate for my sister to my parents. Just do what you can. You never know, your wisdom and insight into your sister and mom ect may get through to mom. I know that it did sometimes (not always) in my case.
