Anyone else with me?

My doc's office was booked because she was on vacation for 2 weeks, so they couldn't get me in until Feb 9th when I am 10 weeks! Last time I went in at 8 weeks, so this is driving me nuts!

I'm ready to see that little peanut on the ultrasound screen and see that little beating heart.

i just called today to make my first appt and they asked when i wanted to come in LOL. of course i was like, "HUH?" i've never had an office see me before 10 or 12 weeks.

well, apparently this ob likes to see pts between 6 and 7 weeks. so, i am going next wednesday. i'll be exactly 7 weeks.

with babe #3 i didn't even call to make an appt until i was 10 weeks along ..... mostly so i didn't have to wait to be seen.

My appt. is Monday. They schedule the "nurses visit" at 9 weeks, which is when I'll get all my bloodwork. They don't do an ultrasound this early though. Not until month 5.

My first visit won't be until Feb 20. I'll be 8wks - which is normal with my ob, but after having 2 mc's and being diagnosed with a blood-clotting disorder I'd like to see her sooner.

I go February 8. I'll be 7 weeks. And yes, that first appointment is always a blast.

I'm anxiously waiting for my first appt. as well which is Feb. 19th. And I'll be between 9 and 10 weeks. But my DH and I will be going to an introductory baby class on the 14th. They like their patients to do that before their first visit with the nurse practitioner.
I didn't get to do that the last time because I had my miscarriage before any appt. Hopefully that won't happen again.:

My old OB wanted to see me again at 6 weeks, probably to ease my mind. But since I have switched offices I'll be going in later.

I am still trying to find a midwife to do a homebirth in my area. Going thru some legality issues, but I have plenty of time. I am not worried about the early check ups, has never been anything to worry about in the past.

I don't go in until Feb 7th and it is a different office I am using this time than when I had my last two so they have no history. So I am anxious!

I am having an u/s on Thursday through a free research (no drugs of course) they just follow you through pregnancy, phone interviews etc just to see how different lifestyles, ethnic backgrounds effect a babies birth and health. At least I get a free u/s and gift cards!!! Hopefully we will see a tiny beating heart and that will ease my mind after 2 m/c's (actually I think 3 but I never went to the doctor for the first one).:

I'm also loOking for a homebirth midwife. I am at about 4 weeks gestation/ 6 weeks since LMP. I'll probably try to get a first appointment in a few weeks but I'm not really in a hurry. I'm not planning any U/S and probably will decline doppler also, so I know we won't be able to hear the heartbeat for quite a while.

My midwife know's I'm pregnant, but we haven't made an appointment yet, since I din't feel the need to see her before 12 weeks or so. I'll probably make my first appointment for around 12-13 weeks, that way at my 2nd appointment around 17w, I'll be able to hear the baby's heartbeat!

Non Practicing Midwife, going back to school! Mamma to my 3 loves, living each day to the fullest.

I can't wait for my first appt. I'm scheduled to see my new OB on Feb. 8th. Hopefully my huge list of irrational worries and multitude of questions will be significantly decreased after this meeting.

I am so excited the person who I want to be my midwife can see me the 1st of Feb. I am not 100% sure just how far along I am, so they are going to do a dating ultrasound then. I am kind of nervous because although by my estimates I am due in early/mid Sept, she has told me that if I am further along then I think and due in Aug she will not be able to take me on because she already has too many women due in Aug.

Go Green I don't vax either, why mess with perfect?

My first appt. is on Wednesday (the 31st) and I can't wait! I requested an ultrasound because of my m/c in November, and I can't wait to see that teeny beating heart!

I go for my first mw appt Feb 6th and I'm SO so SO happy to get in so soon - I won't even be 7 weeks yet. Last time, she was on vacation and they gave me an appt that was almost 12 weeks along (I had her when my baby was born and asked to meet specifically with her, not her partner, otherwise I could have gone sooner). And then I lost the baby and had to cancel. :-(

I am going to BEG her for an u/s at 7 weeks so that hopefully we will see a hb and I will get over this "petrified that I will lose this one, too" thing I have going.

Meanwhile, I get have 2 betas to keep me busy - next Monday and the following Monday. Pregnant control freak mamas unite!!!
