Does anyone else feel like this is just crawling by? Ugh.

I'm seven weeks today, and already feel like I've been pregnant much longer than that. I've been feeling yucky for a while, and so tired that I'm not sure I can handle life some days. And there's weeks left of this!

But underneath it all, I'm really wanting these next few weeks to be over so I can be reassured about the health of this pregnancy. I don't have any reason to doubt it, really, I'm just nervous. My very first pregnancy was a missed m/c- they said the baby stopped developing around 6 weeks, and I held on to it for another 5.

We haven't made a firm decision about care providers yet, either, because although we found a hb midwife that I love, my dh has been working 100 hour a week last week and this week, and isn't yet 100% on board about a hb, so we haven't made an appointment with her yet. I just wish there was some way I could be reassured that everything is okay....

I've even given some thought to going to one of those fetal photos type places for an u/s there... :

I totally relate! I've only known that I'm pg for a week and it feels like forever, lol! I think because of my two mc's last year the first trimester is extra hard. I worry about every little thing.

Pianojazzgrl - we have the same due date! I feel so pregnant already. It's weird. I am starting to think it's all in my head.

Last week (week 7) my husband said, "So are you ten weeks, twelve weeks?" No, it only seems like I've been complaining that long. I don't like the nausea, and I'm really tired, but I don't want them to go away too soon - that's never been good news for me. At least I did have an u/s last week, and there was a heartbeat. I'm a little reassured, but my dd's twin stopped developing at 8.5 weeks, so I'm not totally reassured. I totally understand where you're coming from.

Oh my gosh YES! I swear it's going slower than it did with DS. I know it's not really. But I'm anxious to feel the baby move. I hate to admit it, but that was the only part of my first pregnancy I enjoyed. The rest was hell. I'm not one of those happy, glowing, vibrant pregnant ladies. I'm a puking, groaning, complaining pregnant lady. I'm crossing my fingers that this pregnancy is easier on me, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm just looking forward to feeling my baby move.

I found out Monday so I'm still in the, "Is this really happening??" phase. But I do remember feeling that way with DD for sure.

secular classical-ish mama to an incredible 5 year old DS and an amazing 6 year old DD.

YUP, crawling...............

Just one slow agonizing day after another. It probably would be better if work was busier.

Then my DH has been so busy at his work that he forgets I'm pregnant!

Could you just go ahead and make an appointment with her, and tell your dh you just want to get reassurance while you are waiting to make a final decision. Then maybe after the appointment he will be more reassured about a HB.

It's going sooo slow. I am a bit over six weeks and just want the first trimester to be over. I want to feel the baby move, I want to look pregnant instead of just bloated and I want the exhaustion to ease. I am right there with you. I hope it picks up the pace soon.

I absolutely agree! I already feel like I should be at least half way done and I'm only 8 wks. Here's hoping the other trimesters will go quicker!

I even went so far as to think i was further ahead than i am. I told someone last saturday that I was 9 weeks, when really I was 8 (but I really thought I was 9) . I looked at the calendar and groaned. So, I'm actually only 8 weeks and 4 days. HOLY COW.

September 26 here too! I'm totally feeling like I've been pregnant forever with very little to show for it. I'm hoping my u/s on February 6 will make me feel better. I'm so nervous about everything right now!

With all of the sleeping I've been doing, it feels like it should be week 14 by now.
Soon, I keep telling myself b/c it will go fast and it will be Sept. before we know it!

SAHM and loving it with DH, DS (8/4/2007) and DS (10/10/2010)
