When are you going to do it? I am so anxious to know. I've heard they can tell as early as 15 weeks sometimes but it is safer to wait until 18. I only want one u/s so I suppose I should wait.

Some people on another board I visit have found out as early as 13 weeks! I'll probably be finding out at the level 2 U/S which will be around 18-20 weeks.

I've heard with boys it's easier to tell earlier. If it's a girl sometimes the u/s tech will err on the side of caution and say they can't tell since it's not so obvious.

We found out with DS at 18wks. I think we're shooting for a u/s around the same time with this bub (assuming my #&*%! Medicaid goes into effect by then!)

Mama to two crazy boys (8/05 & 9/07) and happy wife to one wonderful hubby.

I will probably be having an u/s at 20 weeks like I did with ds. Although I am very excited to find out the gender, I would rather wait to make sure that we get a good pic.

With ds, I found out at 17 weeks. This time, I'm only doing one U/S, probably around 20 weeks. I guess I'll just find out then.

My doctor said they'd order the "big" ultrasound between 18 and 22 weeks. They do it either way, but that will be when we can find out if we choose. We're going to - I can't wait a whole 40 weeks!

I'm not finding out but my u/s is scheduled for 16 weeks and they said I'd be able to find out at that point if I wanted to.

With my second child, we found out for sure that he would be a boy at 16wks. It was very obvious and it wasn't even a very good ultrasound. With this pregnancy, i had my first ultrasound at 13wks6ds. and the doc thinks it will be a boy. It did look like it, but the doc wouldn't say for sure because he didn't want to be wrong because it was early to tell, but that's what he thought. We hope he is right!

We found out yesterday at 14 weeks and 5 days that it is 100% a boy! So 15 weeks is very possible!

Congrats on your boy!!

We haven't scheduled the "big" u/s yet, hopefully that will be between 18-22 weeks. I'm very excited to find out!! We haven't even discussed names yet because I want to see if we can tell the sex so we can just focus on boy or girl names.

MW told me I should wait till 20wks but I'm so impatient! At this point I just want to shopshopshop for my baby stuff but can't unless I know the sex...I've inheriated boy stuff already and can easily access girl stuff too, but I just want to know for sure. Since I'm on Medicaid I hope they don't mind if I try and push for an earlier US....such as 16wks? too early?

I just found out that we're having a girl at 15w6d and the u/s wasn't that good. But the dr. knew right away.

I am finding out in 2 weeks at 20wks....like I did last time....going in for a regular appointment and then my MW will whisk me away and we'll have a peek (love having her last appt of the day..).....I'm sooo exicted...

I am so hoping for another girl...dd already thinks it's a baby sister.....DH would be happy with either, as would I but right now I prefer a girl....so dd can have a sister like I had.....

I am scheduled for a level 2 u/s at 19 weeks. I know they said they could tell us the gender at that time but DH and I have decided to wait. I may end up having the u/s earlier as the dumb Triple screen test came back positive. I'd really prefer to have an u/s than an amnio to rule out Downs.

I had an u/s at 13ish wks.. The tech gave me a 75% guesstimate that it was a girl... I did see between the little legs, and saw nothing...

So we'll see if she's right... My u/s will be in 3wks at 19...

I'm planning on having the "big" ultrasound at 17 weeks. I can go anytime between 16 and 20, but 16 seems too early and 20 seems too late.

We found out with DD at exactly 20 weeks. This time, I will be 20 weeks, 6 days. I am SO hoping this baby shows us the goods! I am so scared he/she will be a shy one.

We have our u/s scheduled for May 7 and I will be almost 22 weeks. Hopefully, the little person cooperates and we can see something! It will almost seem strange to assign a gender to this little being...we're getting used to just calling him/her "the walnut." Heh.

Congrats to everyone who already knows!!
