Anyone worried about the seperation of the muscles on the right and left sides of their ab. I'm sure mine have begun to seperate and I can feel it a little. I know why it's happening, (aside from the obvious baby growing in my belly). I have not been super careful how i get up and down or how I pick up my son. And now I'm hoping I haven't done irreprable damage. I did not notice this seperation last pregnancy. Anyone have it but have a good healing of it after birth?
i have separation down the middle of my abs.
it happened last time with ds and never went back together. this time it is widening much faster, and i'm a little scared that it will never go back together.
Right there with you, girls. My MWs told me that a modified crunch (where you lift ONLY your head off the floor) can help strengthen those abs for those of us experiencing this. I've also found that belly binders (I use just an ACE bandage) in the evening when the belly is tired and sore to really help. Also, make sure you are taking your Cal/Mg supplement.
