Me!!

My beautiful boy, Curran David, was born September 2nd. Although I am still processing my feelings regarding his birth and dealing with some minor breastfeeding issues, I am totally in love with him and beaming with pride over how well he is doing!

I'll attach a link to a pic once I figure out how . . . .

Living simply with the loves of my life! :::

Had my gorgeous baby girl on 9/14 at home! It was an amazing birth, I need to write out my birth story still. I have been lurking here while naking. Just trying to adjust to life with two and squeeze in a little computer time. Mighty-mama, I think both of our kids are the same age. How cool!

I had a boy on September 27th at 1:27 p.m. He was born at the same birth center as was my dd with our wonderful midwife and her assistant. He was 9lbs. 1 oz (two pounds bigger than dd!) 21 1/2 inches and very healthy. His name is Kyrinn Alexander (pronounced kai-rin). We feel so blessed to have him. Congratulations to everyone in this DDC and I hope that everyone is doing well!

Our dd2 Violet Jane, was born Sept 28th by planned c/s- I was thankful just to be awake during the birth this time! (Slept through my emergent c/s with dd1 and than slept forever after!) Felt great afterward and breastfeeding has been going strong from the very beginning. Congrats to everyone on their babes!

We had our baby girl on September 6. Perfect hospital delivery, baby was born in the caul, my MW turned FP's first! My first totally natural birth. It really was perfect!

With a highly sensitive 26 mo, I haven't had much online time. DD1 has had a tough time with sister's arrival. We're tandem nursing, so I guess I need to figure out how to juggle two nurslings and a laptop!

Congrats to everyone and am hoping to follow the group to the LWAB forum.

We had a girl, Lucy Campbell, born at 2:36 pm on September 9th (1st wedding anniversary, 5th anniversary from our 1st date). She weighed 9 lbs 13.3 oz and was 20.5" long. 9 hours start to finish (woke up in transition, went to hospital 2 hrs later at 5 cm, then was at 8 cm 2 hrs after that), completely drug-free. Her shoulder was stuck but the midwife got her out just fine. By day 5, she'd dropped to 8 lbs 8 oz and I had to go back to the hospital because my blood pressure was up to about 155/105 (got to leave after some IV fluids and meds), but as of yesterday she was up to 11 lbs 2 oz. Can't believe it's been 7 weeks today!

First day:

Three weeks old:

And here she is two days ago (ETA she gets that grumpy glare from me, lol):

Rachel, mama to Lucy, born 9.9.07, and Caroline, born 2.25.10!
