Went to an open house today. Had to go potty. Have been constipated for a while, figured I was safe cause I've just been doing little turtle poops. Nope, I pooped the size of my wrist.

Yes, I clogged the toilet at an open house. How much longer til I'm no longer prego?

Ohhhhh boy mama! I'm sorry that had to be you! Well, at least you weren't stuck in the bathroom for an hour beforehand and then clogging the toilet (that's my new life story it seems).

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.

I went through a phase of toilet-clogging everywhere I went for a few weeks. It was lovely.

Lovely!! I just did that at my friend's beach house. My friend and her whole family were there. I had to ask for the plunger in front of everyone. :

No one else has ever told me that they have experienced this in pregnancy! I had been thinking I am a freak. I am so thankful for all of you Oct. DDC mamas!!!

How embarrasing! Does it make you feel better to know that I clog the toiliet EVERY time I go (not just PG). It is really bad these last few weeks though. I actually prayed that I would get the trots last night, can you believe that?

Hey, at least you know now that house does not have good toilets.
My husband got so sick of twiddling with toilet parts and unclogging them that he uninstalled two perfectly functional toilets and replaced them with $500 Toto toilets, 6 week wait on ordering them because they ship 'em from Japan. Lots of trouble and expense, but we don't need plungers anymore.
Men and their priorities.

Oooh, I'd love a Toto toilet. We're looking at buying a house right now that has brand new Toto dual-flush toilets. I'd buy it for the toilets alone.

OP: Glad I'm not the only one crazy enough to be house hunting while pregnant! (Or were you just being nosy? ) Are you hoping to move before the baby is born, or after?

Sooo, did you decide not to buy the house because of the crappy toilet (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

We've had to call maintenance out to fix our toilets (3 of them) like 5 times since we moved in at the end of May. I have to call them again because our master bathroom's toilet is hosed now. You're not the only toilet clogger

FWIW my midwife recommended taking flax seed oil (a few tblsp/day) to soften the...poos. It really helps...when I remember to take it. I put mine in yogurt because it is pretty gnarly tasting IMHO.

Popping in (er... POOPing in, I mean) from Nov... I had to post. I clogged the toilet at a restaurant recently- the upstairs one. There was no plunger. I had to go to the hostess, downstairs, and get the plunger, go through the restaurant with it, and plunge the toilet.

Wait... the restaurant made you, a customer, plunge their toilet?

Actually, we just put in an offer on a house today. Not the house where I clogged the toilet, though I felt so embarrassed that I thought we should buy the house anyway.

I was hoping to have a house by Christmas, DH wanted to wait until February. Now I'm hoping we can get in by September 1.
