I seem to have hit a wall again. Totally exhausted!

Yesterday I went bowling in the morning, then (whether at home, in the car, or even while visiting friends!) from 1pm to 9pm I could not stay awake. I spent most of the time with my eyes closed, and at least half of the time sleeping.

I went to bed at 9pm and while it seemed I was waking up every few minutes, I slept all night.

But I am still exhausted! I cannot seem to wake up today.

I know in the last week or so I have just been really tired again. I have suddenly gained lots of weight and while I know some is swelling and some is junk food, I figure the baby hit a huge growth spurt. I have suddenly popped and am down to a few pairs of (ugly) pants that fit.

But it seems like I still have forever to go! Up to 4-6 weeks left!!

YES! I hit utter exhaustion from about 34-37 weeks. Not sure why, but struggled to function I was so tired. Little better now, but not sure why.

I wish i had some solution but I just fought through it. Took lots of 30 minutes cat naps on the floor of my office..lol.

yes.......then again, look at what i went thru for that time period. now i feel MUCH more relaxed and serene knowing where i'll be birthing (well that is the plan anyway...at the birth center) & not having tom around, having state help and mama nearby......i feel i'm pulling out of this exhaustion. i think a lot was just too much pressure and things to deal with.....uhaul across country, moving, dealing w/ restraining order and such...........i don't know. i think the exhaustion was both. i'm not retaining water as much as i was for a few weeks again recently. hmmmm. baby is still sooo heavy on my cervix/pubic bones...naps are still great if i do take them. don't feel i have to every day now though...

Me! I got all the big nesting projects done and then it was like I couldn't function *at all* I was so tired. In retrospect I think it's b/c my iron was so low.

Yes, me... one of the reasons I stopped working a little earlier than I planned. Bone-tired all over again, some days. Between that and my super-powered BH contractions, I said ENOUGH! I'm staying home.

I still have about 4 weeks left too, I'm hanging in there for the long haul with you!

Yes! I totally hit a wall around 35-36 weeks. I gained a bunch of weight really quickly, my ankles swelled up, everything you described. I started feeling better around 38 weeks. Maybe it has something to do with starting mat leave at 37.5 weeks but I don't know. I feel surprisingly good now, considering I'm 39w2d!

YESSSS!! And it was last week for me, too.

You know, Gina, I'm starting to think we're going to give birth on the same day because we have hit virtually every milestone simultaneously.

Well geez that's a lot of us. I feel SO much better now. Hopefully in a week or two I will be feeling better again. I really really really do want to feel good so I can just bake and bake without feeling tortured, you know?

I'd like for the babe to come no sooner than 39 or 40 weeks. Yes. I just said that.

Yep. Can't sleep more than a couple hours stretch at a time either, which I think accounts for some of it. And I can't keep my iron down (throw it up every single time!) so I'm pretty sure my iron has a lot to do with it as well.
I'm getting good at napping whenever the urge strikes b/c I know if I don't give in, I won't get ANY rest that day/night.

Hopefully it will ease as some of the PP said. I will be 37 weeks tomorrow!! YAY!

I am great in the early morning but at around 10:00 I hit the wall. Which is a shame because my work schedule has me in at 8:00 till 3:00, so 10:00 does not leave me much time to be productive. My poor co-workers- I am sure they are ready to shake me! I become a useless blob.

Yup, me too. Glad I've gotten the big, physical tasks out of the way because I am really needing to pace myself now.
