Amen, girl, me too. That sucks. But your boy is beautiful, congratulations! How are you healing?

Hi there! Still PG. I know.
Baby is doing great, passed an NST with flying colors this morning. We are sure about the date of conception, it matches right up with ultrasound dates. Our due was Nov 29. I can't believe he hasn't come yet.

How are you doing ckberkey? Hang in there! I totally know how you feel. It is hard to wait, and wait, and wait... Trust me when I say it will be well worth it, my 44-weeker seems so content and I really think it's because we were able to wait for him to come on his own time frame...

And GinaRae, how surreal is it for me to *finally* see my name in pink? Thanks lady.

So sorry it has taken me one month (to the day) to finally post! Despite all of the warnings and research and diligence, I ended up having a terrible labor experience and I just couldn't handle visiting the board quite yet.

I ended up starting labor on my own, but didn't have the natural birth I envisioned. But I'll save the full story for another day, if I have the courage.

The good news is I have a healthy baby girl that was born on Thanksgiving, Nov 22 and I'm very THANKFUL for that. She was 8 lbs, 6 oz. and 20 inches at 41weeks, 6 days.

Hope you all are doing well with your little ones!

So glad to hear from you! Lots of mamas here had some minor to major trauma over their births, so be sure you join our new forum and tell us your story or at least just hang out. NO one judges here.

Also, what's your daughter's name?

The birth of my first baby was horribly, horribly traumatic.
In retrospect I probably should have gone to therapy after it. The shock and shame and ickness fades in time, though.

Congratulations on your baby girl, though!

Definitely hop on over to the new board.

Congratulations on your little girl! I hope you can find a way to write out your birth story eventually, even if it's just for you. My labor didn't go right either... my homebirth ended up in a C-section and I had to process that. Just know that birth is very mysterious, we can plan and plan and we just don't ever know what's going to happen in the end.

Nope! Qiya was December 7th.
November 7th was the only day in November without a baby.
