My DF and I are expecting our first child in January.

I'm having a great deal of trouble figuring out something to do for him on Father's Day. We are kind of competitive (not really the right word, but let's go with it) with each other (long story) when it comes to holidays, presents, etc.. I don't mean that something has to be more expensive to be better - or that it even has to be better. We just like surprising each other with the unexpected, because neither of us likes surprises. Like I said, it's a long story. Suffice it to say, we're fans of grand - sometimes crazy - gestures.

DF can't take any time off (I already asked his boss behind his back - don't worry his office is like family), but we live in Brooklyn so there's not a shortage of places surrounding us and we pretty well off, financially speaking, so money isn't a concern either.

So, any ideas? This is his first Father's Day as an expectant father and his last without any kiddos running around, so I want to make it special.

Thanks in advance, guys!
