Wow, I wish I'd been here when this thread started up. I know this is now in the archives, but are any of you still out there? I'll write more later, but it's just a comfort to know that there are so many of you who feel the same way I do. My DH is 22 yrs older than me, but I feel the age difference less and less the longer we are together. In fact, I think he's getting younger. Neither of us had been married or had children before, and I think life's wisdom has only made us better parents than we could have been when we were younger. (Our first was born when I was 36). The only thing I wish was that I had a little more energy, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with age.
If any of you are still around, please let me know!

My DH was over 50 when we got married. I was 39 when we had our second. It's been wonderful!
