I had my first child young. I was 18 and my wife was almost 22. We got married because she was pregnant. I panicked and being raised in the South, thought I had to marry her. I wish I hadn't. I wasn't so good to her and when she finally left, it meant I didn't have much of a relationship with our daughter.

I felt like throwing up every day because I was working two jobs just to keep us going. Doing that, though, I didn't spend much time with my ex. i'm sure that is part of what made us go South so soon after our girl was born.

You're in a better place than I was. I know this economy sucks and you don't have a job, but having skills and an education, you'll be able to provide. If youlove this woman, ride along with her. You'll be sorry if you don't. kids change your life, but they make it a helluva lot better.

Sorry I poste dwithout reading the whole thread (Short attention span), but read through. You guys did a good job. Congratulations, man. Enjoy being a dad. You're doing a great job as a daddy ... I don't think I was so sensitive to my women when they were pregnant.
