My new dd is sleeping right now. Great huh? Should be, expect for the fact that she hasn't eaten much today and has spent most of the day sleeping.

:
That is how I feel about that. I was supposed to take her in today to get her weight checked, but the car is froze up. Then my dh figured out that the battery isn't holding a charge, and it can be remedied with a new starter. That we can't afford.
Car, Shmar, I don't care, I would walk if it wasn't so freaking cold out. Having Rhiannon sleep so much though... this so frustrating! She gained 5oz in a week, so I guess I should be happy she's gaining. What if she slows down again? I know I'm being paranoid, I'm always paranoid, my kids make me paranoid!

Is she sick? Is her blood sugar so far down that all she can do is sleep? Or is she reverse cycling and going to be awake all night?

ARGHHHHH!!!!
:

This damn kid is going to drop me in the loony bin, if her older sister doesn't drop-kick me there first!

Has this been going on for awhile or just today? I'm no expert but I think it might be normal if it's just once in a while. I know yesterday Reyes was super fussy-and barely ate. However he's growing like a weed.

Anyway I hope your LO is OK.

Karen, mother to a wonderful active three year old.

Yeah, sleeping alot is pretty common for her. I think she was thisclose to getting a FTG diagnosis. She was 2 days shy of 1 month when she finally gained her birth weight back.
Anyway, she ended nursing half the night away, which I sort of slept through She starting to get a hang of side-lying nursing
I think it was just a sleepy day for her yesterday *whew* since she's wide awake and pretty content right now.
No wonder I'm going white. Not even grey, just straight to white
