Homebirth with a CPM. I'm still deciding on the CPM - I've got three interviews scheduled over the next couple weeks. After I choose a CPM I will need to bring my DH to meet her and get fully on board. He's still hoping that I'll choose one of the birth centers, I think, but he also seems to realize that I am probably not going to.

freestanding birthing center w/ a mw. Its where I had my
2nd ds and I had a wonderful experience. I'd like to have a homebirth but we rent an apartment and I just don't feel comfortable with it. My 1st was a very unpleasant hospital birth.

I haven't completely decided yet. I figure I have lots of time.. and really, I don't want to have to discuss my birthing plans with any friends or family and have to deal with defending my choices..so.. I claim "I don't know"

Birth #1.. unmedicated hospital birth w/ Doula
Birth #2 .. AROM induction at 5 cm due to ignorance.. otherwise unmedicated/unintervened hospital birth with Doula
Birth #3.. unassisted homebirth w/ Doulas
Birth #4.. unmedicated hospital birth w/ Doula

Birth #5??? I have my thoughts about what we may decide to do but I am open to just experiencing the pregnancy and letting it unfold without being too attatched to any one thing at this point.. I have a lot of postive feelings/energy about this pregnancy similar to how things were with birth #3 (my UC) and I am open to going with what seems best when birth gets here. Clear as mud?

Both my DD's where HB's...
Unless something actually goes "wrong" it's Homebirth all the way for us!!!

I'm stoked, because I just found out today that our insurance actually covers HB!!! YAY! What a pleasant surprise!
